Peppermint bark is one of those desserts that is the perfect sweet bite to keep at home or it makes a great gift for teachers, friends, and neighbors! With just a few simple ingredients, you can make the most delicious peppermint bark right at home! Eat it by itself, sprinkle on ice cream, on top of cookies and more! It’s SO good!

-Melt chocolate with 1 tsp of coconut oil over a double boiler or in the microwave in 30 second increments, stirring until smooth. -Spread the melted chocolate onto a parchment lined baking sheet in a single layer and refrigerate for 10 minutes until chocolate has hardened. -Meanwhile, crush candy canes. -Once chocolate has hardened, add the white chocolate, peppermint extract, and 1 tsp coconut oil to a double boiler and melt, stirring consistently until smooth. -Pour over the chocolate and spread into a single layer and then sprinkle crushed candy cane over top. -Refrigerate again until the chocolate has hardened, about 10 minutes. -Break into pieces and serve.
