What you need

cup milk

lb applewood smoked bacon

tbsp table salt

tsp black pepper

tbsp dijon mustard

croissant
egg

tbsp fresh chives
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9 x 13 baking dish with nonstick spray. Tear croissants into chunks and place into the baking dish. Slice the bacon into small pieces and brown in a skillet until crispy and remove to drain. Mix eggs, milk, dijon, salt, pepper, and chives in a large bowl and whisk until combined. Sprinkle cooked bacon over the croissant pieces and then pour the custard mixture over the whole casserole. Top with shredded cheese and bake for 50-60 minutes until golden and eggs are cooked through. (Cover if croissants begin to brown too quickly.) Remove from oven and let sit for 10 minutes before slicing. Top with extra bacon and chives if desired and serve.View original recipe
