What you need

fl oz water

red onion

tsp table sugar

tsp table salt

Instructions
1. Fill a jar with thinly sliced red onions. 2. Fill that jar half with water and half with vinegar. 3. Add 1 Tsp. Salt and 1/2 Tsp. Sugar along with peppercorns or any other herbs or spices you prefer. You can also add in garlic, jalapeno etc. 4. Shake the jar well and let it sit in the fridge for at least an hour. 5. Serve as you wish. These pickled red onions will stay good for at least a couple of weeks in the fridge.View original recipe
