Today’s plans to beat the current Texas heat wave is to celebrate #nationalrumday with this peaches and cream rum cocktail that’s I made using @zevia Dr. Zevia (it’s a surprising, yet amazing combo) while hanging in the kiddie pool in the backyard! This cocktail is my take on a “dirty soda” and is perfect for staying cool!

4 tbsp coconut cream

4 fl oz rum

1 tbsp lime juice

2 peach

Instructions

Puree 1 peeled and diced peach with 1 can of Dr. Zevia, and lime juice. Strain the pulp out and reserve the liquid and mix in rum to the peach Dr. Zevia. Fill 4 glasses with crushed ice and then pour equal amounts of the peach Dr. Zevia/rum mixture into the bottom of each glass. Top off the glass with more Dr. Zevia and then drizzle 1 tbsp. of coconut cream on top of each glass. Stir right before serving and garnish with extra peach slices and lime wedges.
