Don't throw away those rotisserie chicken bones! Turn them into a nourishing and delicious homemade stock, perfect for soup season. This hack utilizes bones and common aromatics to create a flavorful base for all your culinary needs.

Instructions
1. Add rotisserie chicken bones to a large pot or slow cooker. 2. Add celery, onion, garlic, and carrots and then season with fresh herbs like thyme or rosemary and season well with salt and pepper. 3. Cover the ingredients with water and bring to a boil on the stove and then reduce heat to a simmer for a couple of hours. (Or if using slow cooker, cook on low for 6 hours) 4. Strain the stock, taste for seasoning, and then store in mason jars or air tight containers in the fridge or freezer to have on hand the next time you are craving soup! P.S. I like to keep a bag of veggie scraps in the freezer that I collect throughout the week and then add those into the stock mixture as well!View original recipe
