What you need

cup brown sugar

cup chopped pecans
cup ap flour

tsp cinnamon

tsp table salt

cup unsalted butter

tsp vanilla extract

tbsp mandarin
Instructions
Make dough by combining softened butter and sugar and cream until smooth and fluffy. Add in vanilla and mandarin juice and mix again. Combine flour, salt, cinnamon, and mandarin zest and then slowly add into the wet ingredients. Fold in chopped pecans and then pat dough into two round discs and cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 3-4 hours. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Roll out dough after working in hands for a few minutes to soften slightly and use cookie cutters to get desired shape. Bake for 15-17 minutes until lightly golden brown on edges.
