fl oz red food colour

cup powdered sugar

fl oz egg yolk

tbsp corn syrup

tbsp half & half cream

pie dough
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Roll two room temperature pie doughs out just slightly. Use a heart shaped cookie cutter and cut out hearts. Place a tsp of jam on bottom layer of heart and then place a top layer on the jam. Seal edges with a fork and poke holes in the center of the heart. Brush the egg wash over the heart pop tarts and bake 10-12 minutes until golden. Make icing by combining powdered sugar, milk, and corn syrup and whisk to combine. Add red food coloring or you can use jam to create a pink or red color. Place icing on the cooled pop tarts and add some sprinkles if desired.View original recipe
