What you need

puff pastry

clove garlic clove

cup mozzarella cheese

tsp fresh parsley

tbsp unsalted butter

cup turkey pepperoni
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Let puff pastry sit at room temperature for at least 15 minutes before using. Lightly flour a surface and lay puff pastry on it and lightly roll out to create a rectangle. On the bottom half of the puff pastry brush pizza sauce lightly going half way up dough. Layer pepperonis on top of the pizza sauce and then sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. (Don’t overstuff the dough as it will make it harder to twist into a candy cane shape.) Fold the other half of the puff pasty on top of the filling side and press to seal. Take pizza cutter and make 1 inch strips. Take one end in each hand and twist the puff pastry strips and form into a candy cane shape and place onto a parchment lined baking sheet. Mix melted butter, garlic, and parsley in a small bowl and lightly brush over the top of the candy canes. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Serve with extra pizza sauce.View original recipe
