Use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to make a heart in the center of each slice of bread. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little butter. Place the toast in the skillet and toast on one side, then flip. Add a little extra butter in the center of the toast to prevent sticking and gently crack an egg into the heart-shaped hole. Season with salt and pepper. Serve once the egg whites have cooked through, or flip once more for an over-medium egg if desired.View original recipe
